BMPRO Smartsense Premium – Pair of Gas Bottle Level Sensors
MONITOR 2 GAS BOTTLES FROM AN APP
Most caravanners travel with two gas bottles. Using SmartSense premium you can monitor gas bottle level on both of them, via a free app.
SmartSense gas bottle level sensors are compatible with Odyssey and JHub apps, which allow connecting and monitoring up to two devices. Alternatively, you could use a standalone SmartSense app, also available to download free of charge.
SmartSense sensor uses a standard non-rechargeable replaceable 3V round battery CR2032. SmartSense app works on all devices that have Bluetooth 4.0.
When used as a part of JHub or Odyssey app, SmartSense Premium requires ControlNode103 (for JHub users) or OdysseyLink103 (for Odyssey users).
Default cylinder volumes are 8.5kg and 3.7kg, rather than 9kg and 4kg as these are the standard gas bottle sizes? The filling of nominal 9kg bottles with 8.5kg of gas was a safety initiative of the Australian LPG industry. And 4kg bottles being filled with 3.7kg of gas.
Will SmartSense work with a 45kg gas cylinder? It may not work on these larger bottles due to the thicker steel used in their construction.
Is the magnet strong enough to leave on a caravan gas bottle full time? Yes, SmartSense is equipped with two super strong magnets.
How long will the battery last? One year on average depending on the operating temperatures. The battery will typically last longer in warmer environments.
