Enerdrive’s VSR 140A 12v Voltage Sensitive Relay has a set point of 13.3vdc for connection and 12.8vdc for disconnection.
This VSR has the capacity for 140amps of current and dual voltage sensing capabilities for bi-directional charging. When the engine is running, the starting and auxiliary batteries are separated, allowing the starting battery to be charged. As charge voltage reaches 13.3 volts, the relay is activated, connecting both batteries and illuminating the red light in the top left corner. When the voltage drops below 12.8vdc, the relay deactivates, separating the batteries and preventing the auxiliary battery from draining the starting battery.
“Dual Sensing” allows the VSR to sense voltage from both batteries and charge them accordingly.
